The largest permanent exhibition of barbie dolls in the world?!
Have you ever heard of the Barbie Expo?
I’ve actually heard about it when it first opened on February 2016, but I never took the time to go and check it out. I’ve seen so many pictures over the past months, but it was only until recently that I finally got to see it in person. I was around the area and decided to go check it out to kill some time. I was so surprised to see so many barbie dolls in one place!
There are over 1 000 barbies presented in this exhibition!
It features “barbie dolls dressed by world-renowned designers Christian Dior, Donna Karan, Armani, Ralph Laurent, Vera Wang, Bill Blass, Oscar de la Renta, Christian Louboutin, Zac Posen, Carolina Herrera and Reem Acra.” (www.expobarbie.ca)
It was interesting to see all of the different barbie dolls they had on display. The details on each dolls is simply incredible. I personally love the diversity of each doll!
Here are some pictures from my visit.
This exhibition is located in the first floor of Les Cours Mont-Royal in downtown Montreal.
1455, Peel street,
(Between Ste-Catherine and de Maisonneuve)
Montreal H3A 1T5
It is open everyday. And, It’s completely free!
If you want, you can also give a donation for Make-A-Wish.
I think it’s worth a visit!
Whether you’re an avid barbie fan or not, young or old…
I think it’s pretty interesting to look at the effort & details that was put in each doll displayed in this exposition.
So, feel free to stop by and look around.
